------------------------![]() gps18 anemones a debut by canadian band anemones. a slight departure perhaps from recent stuff, think 70s new york jonathan richman / television with a hint of velvets done lo-fi style... limited to 300 in ace A3 full colour double sided ferris wheel posters, with stickers, numbered inserts etc etc... ![]() gps19 rosewood green featuring more ace pete greenwood slide guitar genius from a recent gps 45. ![]() gps20 the box deluxe a 250 copy only 3" cd in embroidered wallets (handmade by the mighty daisy "patchy witch", creator of the recent lathe cut 6" bags). 4 great tracks- one part singer / songwriter folk kinda gear, one part electronica- not unlike the woodcraft folk in places perhaps?! the wallets contain a 3" cd and fold out post insert, numbered to 250 copies. ![]() gps21 mv + ee 'old black joe' 7" wonderful smoked out blues with erika elder lead vocal and refrained geetar genius from mv. byron coley sleevenotes. 500 only ready late jan/early feb. 500 only... ![]() gps22 pet politics 'spring' ep 7" 300 numbered 7''s in circular, shell like sleeves- killer lo-fi, psych pop from swedish one man outfit pet politics. ![]() gps24 wooden wand and the omen bones band 'horus of the horizon' 10" wooden wand and the omen bones band (satya sai and hush arbors' keith wood) on a fabulous 6 trk 10" of a previously mailorder only cd (on three lobed recordings). total classic and amongst the very best in the mighty wand canon. ![]() gps25 tranko 'neko 77/mujam' 7" killer debut 45 from japanese psych band- whacked out moog / sitar collision like some holy Acid Mothers / Popol Vuh jam with Ananda Shankar at the controls. 300 only in cool circular Indian art sleeves. single of the week on various online sites (some joint with the mv+ee released at the same time) ... ![]() gps26 whsyp 'sun without end' (family ep) 7" hazy high end vocal harmonies backed with subtle sitars (courtesy of skygreen leopards, part time wooden wand backing guy glenn donaldson) which aim for the stars yet quickly turn into a darker beast as the piece closes out. a beautiful 45 in fliptop match wallet style sleeves made from linen card and in a run of 300 only... ![]() gps27 the see see 'up the hill/citadel shuffle' 7" debut 45 from what has become something of a multi-national supergroup of sorts. ex-eighteenth day of may mainguy, richard olson, soledad brothers drummer ben swank, former gps 45 guy pete greenwood on guitars and lap steel and kevin peyok. 2 fabulous slices of southern u.s folk rock, recalling gene clark, the byrds and burritos with a passing nod to big star perhaps. beautiful, soaring vocals and a gem of a 45 to open up with. early gigs included bill doss from the olivia tremor control - unsurprising given the uplifting nature of the sunny psych tunes within. 300 only 45 given the usual GPS packaging treatment... ![]() gps28 jack rose 7" fabulous jack rose 45 in cool booklet sleeves, edition of 500. killer reworkings of 'revolt' and 'soft steel piston' with the black twigs. came and went in 24 hours!
